La SIRTS (Società Italiana di Ricerca e Terapia Sistemica-www.sirts.org) in collaborazione con HESTAFTA (Hellenic Systemic Thinking and Family Therapy Association –www.hestafta.org) società scientifica con cui è gemellata dal novembre 2008, uscendo dal ristretto ambito delle stanze di Terapia, intende promuovere un confronto sulle forme di povertà che caratterizzano il nostro tempo. L’attuale crisi economica enfatizza il disagio provocato dalla precarietà nelle famiglie, nelle comunità, nelle organizzazioni di lavoro e nei servizi destinati alla cura e alla formazione. A partire dall’epistemologia sistemica, in integrazione con altri approcci, il Congresso intende rivolgere uno sguardo attento al tempo presente, raccogliendo esperienze che promuovano azioni di empowerment tese al raggiungimento di una maggiore giustizia, ascoltando storie che restituiscano dignità e riducano la vulnerabilità alla malattia, valorizzando interventi in differenti contesti in una prospettiva di responsabilità sociale.

The contemporary economic crisis emphasizes the disadvantage caused by the precariousness present in families, communities, work organizations, and services regarding cure and training. Starting from Systemic Epistemology, in dialogue with other approaches, the Congress wants to direct its careful glance at the present time, gathering experiences which foster actions of empowerment meant to achieve a greater justice, listening to stories which can restore dignity and reduce vulnerability to illness, valuing interventions in different contexts in a prospective of social responsibility.
