Campo di interesse

Endoscopia bilio-pancreatica (CPRE), Endoscopia Bariatrica, trattamento delle complicanze della chirurgia bariatrica, Ecoendoscopia diagnostica e terapeutica, tecniche avanzate in endoscopia digestiva, ablazioni tumorali, palliazione di neoplasie del sistema gastro-enterico, trattamenti con cellule staminali e mesenchimali autologhe, tecniche avanzate di imaging in gastroenterologia.

Inventore del Boškoski-Costamagna ECRP Trainer (Cook Medical, Limerick, Ireland): strumento per l’insegnamento della CPRE, che è stato validato e riconosciuto da importanti gruppi internazionali come uno dei migliori simulatori di training in CPRE a livello mondiale. Il Boškoski-Costamagna ECRP Trainer è stato acquisito come unico modello di training in CPRE dalla British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG), dalla Società Francese di Endoscopia Digestiva (SFED) ed è attualmente inserito nelle linee guida dell’European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) sul training e i training curricula. Oggi vi sono numerose Università di Medicina che ne possiedono almeno un simulatore; l’Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore di Roma ne possiede 4 modelli, ubicati all’European Endoscopy Training Centre di Roma.
