Laureato in Medicina e Chirurgia nel 1996 e quindi specializzato in Ortopedia e Traumatologia nel 2000 presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano.

Ha focalizzato il suo interesse nell’ambito della Chirurgia della Spalla e del Gomito e attualmente presta la sua opera presso l’unità operativa di Chirurgia della Spalla e del Gomito dell’Istituto Clinico Humanitas, diretta dal dott Alex Castagna.

È socio attivo di:

• SIOT (Società Italiana di Ortopedia e Traumatologia)
• SICSeG (Società Italiana di Chirurgia della Spalla e del Gomito)
• SIA (Società Italiana di Artroscopia)
• SECEC-ESSE (Società Europea di Chirurgia della Spalla e Gomito)

Nel 2008 ha vinto (primo Italiano) la Traveling Fellowship organizzata in collaborazione tra la SECEC-ESSE (Società Europea di Chirurgia di Spalla e Gomito) e la ASES (Società Americana di Chirurgia di Spalla).
